Books to read

I’ve been devoting more time to reading lately and have been getting recommendations from here and there. Above are the books I’ve added to my “to-read” list this month. The one exception is the “Mr. Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore” which is a “to-listen” rather than “to-read” because @meshuggeknitter said it was great in audio.

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
The Art of Fielding by Chad Harbach
Marbles: Mania, Depression, Michelangelo, and Me by Ellen Forney
State of Wonder by Ann Patchett
The Freedom Maze: a novel by Delia Sherman
The Condé Nast Traveler Book of Unforgettable Journeys: Great Writers on Great Places by Klara Glowczewska
The Devotion of Suspect X by Keigo Higashino
Mr. Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan
Rules of Civility by Amor Towles
Divergent (Divergent #1) by Veronica Roth
Through the Children’s Gate: A Home in New York by Adam Gopnik

What have you added to your “to-read” list?

I’ve heard good things about the audio of Mr. Penumbra…
Look carefully – these are on my ever-growing “to read” list. 😉
