Finished knitted item – Chevron Love Scarf

Untitled

Irish Girlie’s post on her chosen color-combo reminded me that I never updated when I finished the never-ending chevron scarf.

Untitled

Actually had been finished for a while, but I hadn’t blocked it and it rolled like crazy. It is behaving much better now. So soft – made of 2ply cashmere from Squoosh Fibers (her etsy shop is currently closed). I did a chevron pattern switching off 8-rows of color. As you can see this puppy is loooong but narrow so it will be easy to wrap up close to my neck.

Another knit finished just in time for our usual heat in the days of August and September.

Wee mischief makers are lurking about… knitted leprechaun for St. Paddy’s Day

If you look very carefully this time of year, you might find evidence of the wee mischief makers lurking about.

They are very quick and could be anywhere…

Inside or out.

So keep watch over your gold coins

Watch out for leprechauns

And your Irish Hooch

Uh oh - The leprechauns are after my hooch

They can be quick little buggers

Leprechaun Hat

And Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Details about the leprechaun hat can be found here. I used the teeny tiny mochimochi gnome pattern for the leprechaun.

Cheeky Geeky Crafty Knitty New Year Video Post

Happy New Year – Here are a few things I’ve been thinking about: Knitting, what other people are knitting, watching tv while I’m knitting, listening to audio books while I’m knitting, listening to podcasts while I’m knitting, Downton Abbey, Valentine’s Day, and what you’re watching or listening to while you’re knitting.
